This set of brooches explores the idea that beauty arises out of rules and limitations. Limiting the shapes created a lens to study and alter other aspects of the work such as the materials and colours and opacity whilst still producing a consistent, harmonious aesthetic.

Starting my Short Film Omission
We began the journey on the 21st of March 2010. It was a placid Sunday. Omission was launched at the local bowling club in Erskineville as we enjoyed $9.40 jugs of beer. I’m looking for a passionate producer to help me make my first short film. Omission is a meditative story recounting a day of interior violence, quiet trauma, and attempt at healing for a hard working Bengali immigrant family living in Sydney. It explores how striking the difference can be between the norms and values of two different cultures.
