No one is doing what I’m doing.
No one is working on the street and getting as close as I am. No one ever has. No one is using such shallow depth of field and getting the shots that I’m getting. No one, is producing the quantity of stunning colour that I’m producing. No one’s out in the third world shooting street photography everyday for months on end. No one is showing as much raw meaningful emotion as I’m showing. No one is as reflective on their method and how to improve as I am. No one is studying, mining the past like I am. No one is writing and thinking and producing as much stuff as I do. And no one’s as thoughtful, as articulate on the craft. And no one is doing all of those things at once, over and over again.
Shit! I’m single-handedly redefining photography and rescuing it from academic hipsters, the blood curdling photojournalists, and the soul less commercial sluts.
I may be the greatest photographer of this century, if not of all time. They should name a space shuttle after me. Or rename the sun; call it Adnan.
I have to go take a leak.
